That's because Martin didn't read the book until he had seen all the concepts and plot twists redone over and over again in other books stealing from Watchmen. And that's too bad.
Gee, I come here to comment and now I gotta defend myself.
Mike, yeah, I'll wait for the DVD. I've just not been happy with my super-hero films of late. I guess I'm just old and cranky. :P
Jim, can I help it every hack writer since Watchmen rehashed those plots dozens of times over in the past two decades? That's why I'm reading classic comics from the 60's and 70's - back when things were at least fresh and new. ;)
I wear many "masks." I'm a 59-year-old retired math teacher, husband, comic book creator, cartoonist, and father. I like the last "mask" the best of all!

Martin? Waiting for DVD. :)

No, you can't. And that's why I said it's too bad. It's no reflection on you.
Jim, ah, oay. Now I got you.
No, you're not cranky, Martin. K.C. is, remember? You, you're a "Mean Main Tzar".
(Sorry, Jim. Inside anagram humor. Martin gets it).
That's right - I'm the Mean Main Tzar! All fear me!
