That's because Martin didn't read the book until he had seen all the concepts and plot twists redone over and over again in other books stealing from Watchmen. And that's too bad.

Mike, yeah, I'll wait for the DVD. I've just not been happy with my super-hero films of late. I guess I'm just old and cranky. :P
Jim, can I help it every hack writer since Watchmen rehashed those plots dozens of times over in the past two decades? That's why I'm reading classic comics from the 60's and 70's - back when things were at least fresh and new. ;)
