The Heroic Age
According to Joe Quesada in USA Today, Marvel 's "heroes will be heroes again."

Devil's advocate comment #1: Actually, what this is referring to is that most of the Marvel heroes, due to the long-term storylines from the Civil War event to the Dark Reign one, have been forced "underground" due to the hero registration act and Norman Osborne having ended up as Director of Homeland Security (and using that to go after heroes and get them out of the way). They've also gotten constant bad press due to Norm's media machine. The intention of the thought isn't "they were acting like ***holes and now they're going to straighten out and act like heroes", but rather that after the "Siege" event is over, the heroes are going to be out in the open again like heroes should be.
That's the intent, at least. I'm just saying.
